Mizzou Celtic Society Beginning and Intermediate Scots Gaelic

Meets every Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM in 106 Stewart Hall, MU campus.

The course has a $15 registration fee. Fee includes books and papers.



The two surviving branches of Celtic Languages are 'Goidelic', which includes Irish Gaelic (Gaeilge), Scots Gaelic (Gàidhlig) and Manx Gaelic (Gailck), and 'Brythonic', which includes Welsh, Cornish and Breton. The other (now extinct) branches of Celtic languages include Leptonic (northern Italy) and Gaulish (Gaul), Galatian and Celt-Iberian (similar continental Celtic languages).
